About Ashley
Growing up in Denver, Colorado, Ashley started performing in theatre at a young age before studying at the Colorado School of Acting for four years, where her love of acting and film took flight. In 2020, she transitioned into directing and producing as well when she and her twin sister developed the comedy web series Quarantwinned in hopes of creating opportunities for actors impacted by the pandemic. Since then, she has tried to experience the storytelling arts from every possible angle (and basically never slept).
Ashley graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern California's School of Dramatic Arts in 2024 with a Theatre BA and Screenwriting Minor. While there, she founded and served as President of CommUnity Arts Collective, a student-led performing arts group dedicated to bridging the gap between the theatre community, the university at large, and the surrounding Los Angeles area. She also wrote, directed, and performed in college theatre productions and continued working as an actor in film and television.
During school breaks, Ashley and her sister Aspen broke into the Colorado film scene by producing and directing small projects around the state, leading up to the pilot episode for the series One Of Us, which is now making its way through the film festival circuit. They also hosted the good-news podcast It's A Twin Thing for over 100 episodes, and they have a middle-grade fiction novel coming out in time for Christmas 2025.
However, Ashey's favorite and proudest accomplishment was starting the 501(c)3 non-profit Stagebugz Theatre in 2021. Stagebugz is a children's theatre company that seeks to provide accessible, safe, and uplifting performing arts education to youth in the Denver community. Ashley currently serves as the Artistic Director and a teaching artist for the company.
Currently, Ashley has a "real" job as a nanny, she is a CIT Actor with the National Institute of Corrections, and she has returned to the Colorado School of Acting to teach. In her (non-existent) free time, she can usually be found baking, reading, crafting, or watching Christmas movies. So, she is basically an old lady who looks like she's 12.
